A few blog problems

Here's a pic of all the Christmas puds and mincemeat before they were taken to be sold at church.

Now I have a couple of blogging problems and hope somebody can help me.
I am delighted to see I have a third follower who has an eye like a horse's, and I thought I would have a look at that blog to see what it was all about, but find
I have to join up before I have even seen it. Well I suppose the only thing to do is to join up. So I think I have answered that one myself.

I thought I would follow Goose Breeder but when I look at Goose Breeder's blog I can't see anything to click. Maybe you can't follow it. Anyway I will wait and see what suggestions I get.

Enjoyed the Big Town Shops and lunch and got loads of stuff. Saw a nice coat to buy with Christmas money for meeee, but hummed and haa-ed and decided on the way home that I would get it after all so went to the internet yesterday and couldn't find it. Might have known this would happen. So now I will have to phone the shop and see about how I can still get it. Maybe someone else local will be going to The Big Town Shops or maybe they'll post it.

Enjoyed the Indian meal but felt I drank too much and therefore talked too much, so today I am trying to discreetly find out if this was so. If I ask them outright they will just say "No, you were fine".

  1. That's a lovely picture of goodies at the top. What a shame I won't be invited to come along and buy a few. Or perhaps I am invited.... but won't be given any instructions how to get there!
GooseBreeder is on blogger as we are. Go to my site and click on "The Good Life" under my list of blogs I visit. That will take to to 'eagoodlife.blogspot.com. Up at the very top of her blog page is 'follow' (along with 'share' etc). You can join/follow there.
On her (Elizabeth) blog she has the usual little group of pics, half way down on the right. You can see Kath & I are there and you can add yourself as well. If you click on Elizabeth's profile you will see she has four blogs so you will need to choose which to follow. I don't know where this 'joining up' comes into it, as you are already an ovenready Singing Chicken.
    Cheers.....Bernard

  2. Well I hadn't realised the horsey eye eagoodlife was in fact Goose Breeder. I clicked on the horse's eye picture to see the blog and couldn't, and as I recall it just said I had to be a member. Anyway.....I will do what KD says.
With blogs, you have to remember at least 3 names - eagoodlife, The Good Life, Goose Breeder and Liz. That's 4. It's quite hard for me to remember who's who and the more I follow the more there will be to remember.
Oven ready,am I? Christmas is coming so I am a little nervous.

Sorry, KD. All of the puds went. There was some mincemeat left over but I can use that or give it away. It's Delia's recipe, if you want to try it. It's probably in her Christmas cookbook!

  3. My mouth is watering at all those goodies, so nicely packaged and presented too. I empathise about the coat. I am known for dithering over buying anything for myself. By the time I have talked myself into it, I go back next day and the item has been sold!

  4. Yes, it's surprising what a bit of shiny red cellophane can do!

Well, I remembered I was promised some birthday money for next week so I rang the shop and they still had the coat so I've just bought it on the phone this morning. Friend who is going there tomorrow will collect it.
The worst thing is that it was in a 20% off sale on Saturday and what I didn't know was that the sale was just for that day! Another grrrrrrr!!!!!
